# Ghost Chatter Terms of Use

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Ghost Chatter app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

## 2. App Description

Ghost Chatter is a paranormal investigation companion app that provides automated question asking functionality for ghost hunting sessions. The App includes both free and premium features.

## 3. Subscription Services

### 3.1 Premium Features
- Premium AI voices
- Custom questions
- Equipment-specific questions
- Advanced timer options
- Offline voice caching
- Extended session history

### 3.2 Subscription Terms
- Monthly subscription: $5.99 USD per month
- Annual subscription: $11.99 USD per year
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

## 4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:
- Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
- Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Not interfere with or disrupt the App's services
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

## 5. Content and Conduct

### 5.1 User-Generated Content
- You retain ownership of any custom questions you create
- You grant us permission to store and use your custom questions for App functionality
- You are responsible for the content of custom questions you create

### 5.2 Prohibited Content
You agree not to create or submit:
- Offensive or inappropriate content
- Content that violates any laws
- Content that infringes on others' rights
- Malicious content or code

## 6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Any paranormal activity will be detected or recorded
- The AI voices or questions will produce specific results

## 7. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

## 8. Age Restriction

The App is not intended for use by persons under the age of 13. Users between 13 and 18 should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

## 9. Intellectual Property

- The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Ghost Chatter and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
- The ElevenLabs voices are subject to ElevenLabs' terms and conditions

## 10. Modifications

### 10.1 To the App
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue any part of the App
- Update the App to improve functionality
- Add or remove features

### 10.2 To the Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

## 11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason.
